香港藝術中心「動漫基地」邁向20週年之際，策劃了「動漫藝術節2025」。除了以不同形式的活動展現香港創作最新面貌，亦向國際知名漫畫及插畫家金政基致敬。香港藝術中心（動漫基地）有幸得到金政基美術館、Superani Studio及金政基老師家人的支持，特別策劃《金政基︰無盡線條之旅》。金老師以即席繪畫巨幅圖像而聞名國際，此展為全球首個全面展示其創作生涯的重要展覽，展品數量更創歷來之最，希望能讓參觀者一睹這位在藝術與商業領域皆獲卓越成就的藝術家的才華。
 
因應此展覽，香港藝術中心亦出版了《金政基︰無盡線條之旅》 展覽特刊。特刊共十三部分，回顧金政基從早期創作到國際現場繪圖表演的精彩歷程。内容精選自展覽匯聚的二百多件珍貴展品，包括漫畫原稿、插畫、素描與跨界合作項目，完整呈現金政基老師自由奔放、風格鮮明的藝術宇宙，極具收藏價值。
 
To mark the 20th anniversary of Comix Home Base, Hong Kong Arts Centre (HKAC) is presenting the Comix Art Fest 2025, a celebration of local creativity through diverse formats. Not only do we reveal a brand new facet of local creations, but also pay tribute to the internationally acclaimed artist Kim Jung Gi. With the support of the KIMJUNGGI Museum, Superani Studio, and the artist’s family, the Hong Kong Arts Centre proudly presents Kim Jung Gi: A Journey to Endless Lines exhibition. Kim earned global fame because of his large-scale live drawing performances. This exhibition is the never-before major exhibition that reveals the exceptional range and depth of his work–includes a record high number of displays. With a record number of pieces on display, visitors will gain an unprecedented glimpse of an artist who has achieved excellence in both art and commerce.
 
Hong Kong Arts Centre has published a Kim Jung Gi: A Journey to Endless Lines exhibition catalogue. It consists of thirteen section, relishing Kim’s creative journey from his early career stage to international live drawing demonstrations. The exhibition catalogue comprises selected works from more than 200 works gathered in the exhibition, including comics originals, illustrations, sketches and cross-disciplinary collaborative works. It is a comprehensive retrospective devoted to showcase Kim’s art universe reflecting freedom and bold and distinct character, which is highly collectible.

金政基，韓國插畫家、漫畫家、現場繪畫表演藝術家。

金政基於1975年出生，2001年正式以漫畫家身份出道。

他曾為多本雜誌撰稿，並在Naver連載網絡漫畫《TLT》。自2011年於富川國際漫畫節開始，他通過現場繪畫表演的形式，在大型畫布上創作巨幅插畫作品，從而吸引大眾目光。

他憑著張力十足的構圖佈局和天馬行空的想像力，發展出一套獨有的風格，不用起稿即興繪畫。他的作品在YouTube及社交媒體廣泛流傳後，隨即獲得廣泛關注。

他在國際上的藝術旅程始於一次來自法國的邀請，隨後更發展出一種超越傳統完稿的創作形式。他經常出席海外展覽及活動，進行現場示範，親身與世界各地的粉絲見面。他的藝術創作及錄像亦橫跨不同領域—包括文學、電影、漫畫、音樂、產品設計、企業及公益廣告、出版及電子遊戲等。同時，透過舉辦多場展覽，使他在藝術市場上的地位更上層樓。金政基是一位在藝術與商業領域皆獲卓越成就的藝術家。2022年，他在歐洲巡迴活動後於法國逝世，享年47歲。
 
Kim Jung Gi，Korean illustrator, comic artist, live drawing artist.

Born in 1975, Kim Jung Gi made his debut as a comic artist in 2001, contributing to various magazines and serialising the webtoon LT on Naver.

Starting with the Bucheon International Comics Festival in 2011, he began captivating the public through live drawing performances - creating massive illustrations directly onto large canvases on-site. With his strong sense of form and boundless imagination, Kim developed a distinct style of drawing improvisationally without sketches, which gained significant attention via YouTube and social media.

His international career began with an invitation from France and soon evolved into a genre of its own, independent of completed works. He frequently met fans around the world through live demonstrations at overseas exhibitions and events. His art and creative videos were featured across various fields - literature, film, comics, music, product design, corporate and public-interest advertising, publishing, and gaming. Simultaneously, he achieved notable success in the art market through numerous exhibitions.

Kim was an artist who merged both artistic and commercial value. While actively working in 2022, he passed away at the age of 47 in France following a European event tour.
